Guy Allion, Les Parcs Pinot Noir 2024

Flag of France

Family-run in Thésée, Touraine, Domaine Guy Allion has farmed these flinty clay-limestone slopes for four generations. Now led by Cédric Allion, the estate champions low-intervention Loire winemaking with HVE and Terra Vitis certification. Sustainable practices and mature vines yield Sauvignon Blancs & Pinot Noirs of bright precision and mineral clarity that capture the freshness and authenticity of the Cher Valley. A bright, light, ruby, classic Loire-Pinot chic. The 2024 Les Parcs Pinot Noir was destemmed and fermented in tank, then matured about 9–11 months in older oak barrels. On the nose: red cherry, raspberry and a hint of wild strawberry, underlain by gentle forest-floor earthiness. The palate is supple and juicy, with vibrant red fruit, soft tannins, fine acidity and a subtle mineral-clay detail giving shape and elegance. A lovely example of cool-climate Pinot and one easy to drink now with room to blossom over a few years.
